Our goal is to understand mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and peripheral neuropathy using human disease genes as our guide, in an effort to develop effective treatments for these disorders.

We are located in the Biotechnology Building, Room 124.  The picture above shows CFP-labeled mitochondria (green) in neuromuscular junctions of a mouse.
