Our goal is to understand mechanisms of neurodegeneration involving the peripheral nervous system, in diseases such as peripheral neuropathy and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, using human disease genes as our guide.

We are located in the Biotechnology Building, Room 124.  The picture above shows CFP-labeled mitochondria (green) in neuromuscular junctions of a mouse.
